Job posting – Part time/La Coopérative du Grand Orme 2008-11-05 Sales Clerk – Customer service La Coopérative du Grand Orme is an environmental solidarity coop located at 99 rue Ste-Anne in the heart of the Sainte-Anne-de-Bellevue village. Its mission is to promote environmentally sound products and services to its clients and members as well as to be a community space oriented towards environmental awareness and outreach. Summary of tasks • All tasks related to the proper functioning of the store, opening and closing of the boutique • Insure the cleanliness and security of the space • Welcome, inform and serve the clientele • Perform tasks related to shipment reception, tagging and placing product inventory. • Manage the cash and coffee area • All other tasks given by the store manager Requiments and qualifications • High-school diploma • Experience in sales • Good knowledge of environmental and socially responsible products (organic, fair-trade, local) • Desire to get involved in the coop’s development and to learn more about environmental issues and alternatives in a perspective of always offering the best quality service and most up to date information to our clients and members. • Good communication skills and teamwork ethics • Basic knowledge of computer programmes and software (Internet, Word, Excel, etc.) • Fluency in speaking and writing English and French Assets • Training in sales techniques • Knowledge and experience in the cooperative sector Work conditions • Part time position (nights and weekends) • Beginning salary: 8.5 $/hour, possibility of advancement and bonuses • Start date : November 20, 2008 The interested candidates should send their resume and a letter of intent to: Véronique Vendette Coop du Grand Orme by email to : coopdugrandorme@gmail.com
