Sainte-Anne-de-Bellevue receives a grant of $646,000 from Montreal 2008-11-14 On October 27, 2008, Sainte-Anne-de-Bellevue received a grant of $646,000 in response to their application to the PR@M-commerce program. Sainte-Anne-de-Bellevue was the only demerged city on the West Island to apply for and receive this grant. One of the strengths shown in the application was the demonstrated willingness for the SDC (Sainte-Anne-de-Bellevue business association) to work together and to work closely with the city on the future of the village of Sainte-Anne-de-Bellevue. The development program encourages businesses on commercial streets to pool their effort to create a business plan and provide blueprints for possible renovations.
