Karen and Peter Webster are the Chefs/Proprietors of Bouquet Garni. They worked for and graduated from École de Cuisine LaVarenne in Paris, France, with their Grands Diplômes Culinaires. They served their apprenticeships in some of the finer catering kitchens there as well as operated their own successful catering business in Paris before returning to the West Island to establish Bouquet Garni in 1989.

In May 2002, Bouquet Garni was awarded Business of the Year (Hospitality sector), by the West Island Chamber of Commerce. The award recognizes excellence in the food and service industry.
